The Breech Birth of Finnegan (December 2019)
Finnegan’s mother first came to Westover Hills Birth Center at 37 weeks. C was pregnant with her second baby and had planned to deliver at a hospital with an OB. Due to Finnegan’s presentation at 37 weeks, the OB recommended a C-section. After researching her options and seeking the advice of her doula and chiropractor, C met with Robin and changed her plans. A little over a week after meeting Robin, C went into labor on her own utilizing the birth stool, warm water, and nitrous oxide and delivered Finnegan on her hands and knees naturally. C decided to share her birth story with other mothers who discover their baby is breech at term.
